SBIR/STTR Phase II Award Winners’ Showcase Participant Eligibility Requirements
Applications must be submitted to Jennifer Crews jcrews@uwf.edu no later than Friday 25 April 2008 and should be 1 to 5 pages in length. Applications will not be reviewed until the $500 application fee, payable to the Florida Small Business Development Foundation, has been paid by check or a credit card, but by no later than 01 May 2008 . If paying by credit card, please call Jennifer Crews at 850.473.7807. Checks should be mailed to Lewis Attardo Companies will be notified by 02 May regarding the decision on selection. Those not selected for Showcase Participation will receive a full refund for their application fee. Or, if representatives are attending the conference, the applicant may apply their fee toward the cost of conference registration(s) at the Early Registration rate of $325/person. Companies selected for the Showcase will receive complimentary exhibit space, valued at $300, and will be given the opportunity to deliver two ten minute overviews of their company sometime during the Winners’ Showcase Breakout sessions. A Showcase section in the Conference Book will also include a 1 page company overview and 1 page of up to 6 PowerPoint Slides that would also be used during Showcase presentations. Showcase companies will receive (2) complimentary conference registrations, a $650 value. Additional company representatives attending may register separately on the conference website at www.sbirflorida.org. If the company is also a conference sponsor, additional complimentary registrations may apply.
